Mono Print

Hello everyone, are your enjoying school? We have been doing rotations and for the rotations we have been split into two groups. In one group there was the children who wanted to do Film Festival and the other group did Art. I chose to do art, in art we were doing Mono Prints. A Mono Print is when you draw a picture and put your drawing on top of a board with ink spread all over it then place your drawing carefully on the ink board. Then take a sharp pencil and you can not put your hand down on the page or else you will get your hand print when you get a sharp pencil then draw over all the lines and when you are finished carefully peal the page toward you from the top two corners. then you should get your picture on the other side. Do you know why it is called a mono print and not just a print? Mono means one so a mono print is one print. Although it is a mono print we got to do two prints, some people got to do three prints.
