Hello bloggers for maths we did rotation.  First we drew a shape in our books and did all our planning in it. then we copied our drawing on a small piece of cardboard and cut it out then got a bigger piece of cardboard and folded it to make four squares.  After that we traced in on one square and rotated it and colored it in.There were so many different drawings and this one is mine.

Toolkits

On Thursday the 18th of June we had an Ako hiko toolkit. If you do not know what a toolkit is it is where different students from different schools meet and learn how to do new things like how to fly a drone, how to use word art and so much more!! It is so much fun and it is also exciting😆😎. But since we have Covid - 19 we had google meets. We had to sign up for different things like digital self portrait, audio books, word art and so much more. I signed up for word art, digital self portrait and Incredibox. My favorite apps are word art and Incredibox in word art you can choose three or more words, choose your font and color of the words and last choose you picture. In Incredibox you can listen and make music.

This week for reading we read a story called "We can learn from the # black lives matter movement". It is about other people being racist and people being killed because of their color. Like how George Floyd was killed by a police officer and so many more people were killed just because of their skin color. I think that it does not matter if your skin is a different color to other people. Just because your skin color is different to other people it does not mean you can not play with them, sit with them, be their friend or eat with them.
